Nolan's Cheddar

This is a short/commercial by the very talented sculptor and filmmaker John Nolan. I find the majority of TV commercials fairly uninspiring, Nolan's piece however is both clever and visually impressive. More of his work can be found on his website.

Dali and his Anteater

Artist Salvador Dali was an admirer of fellow Surrealist Andre Breton; who just so happens to be nicknamed 'The Anteater'. From here his fascination with anteaters began. Dali drew several sketches of anteaters dedicating one to Breton. He was also photographed emerging from the Parisian subway with a giant anteater. Clearly Dali's surrealist view extends beyond his art.
